I am a huge fan of the wonderful Maggie Topkis, Founder of Felony and Mayhem, a republisher of out of print mysteries, and co-owner of the 'Partners and Crime' bookstore in NYC. I first came across Maggie at a book fair in New York many years ago — my eyes were drawn from across the room to her selection of Margery Allingham books — I had read several of her Campion books, old musty copies acquired at second hand stores and loved them. Here was my chance of adding to my collection! If you like mysteries, especially those with an English setting, I urge you to check out the new Felony and Mayhem site and add a couple of classics to your shopping basket!
p.s. Maggie has also been extremely gracious to me as an author and supplied one of the first reviews of 'A Bella Street Mystery: The Secret Formula'!

Clare grew up in Constable Country not far from East Trimley where Kate Summers and Detective Vicky Allard solve their local mysteries and where The Bellamy Bird is set. Clare lived for many years on a street in Manhattan just like the street where Bella and Felix live although she was never chased through Central Park at night by a couple of failed fashion-world gangsters. Clare now lives on a high cliff next to a lighthouse in Australia where she plots and writes with her faithful chocolate labrador by her side.
